Gum Disease Treatment

Periodontal disease causes a serious infection to develop under your gum line.

We offer an antibiotic that will kill the bacteria that can cause the infection. It can be placed directly into the “pockets” of your gums directly after scaling and root planing. This is a dental procedure that will interrupt the growing of plaque and bacteria that your brush cannot reach.

ARESTIN® works quickly to eliminate the infection. It will continue to destroy any bacteria even after you leave our office(reference 1,2).

ARESTIN® will fight any infection you have, as well as inflammation caused by the infection, for the next 30 days(reference 2) and offers better results than root planing and scaling alone does even after a 90 day period(reference 3).
